Hey, what’s up? I’m Jay Carver, and I want to share a bit about my journey as a writer, director, and producer. I’ve always had a passion for telling stories from a different perspective since I was a kid.
In the past, I had the incredible opportunity to write and direct an independent feature film called “Frank’s Dead.” It’s a gritty crime thriller that delves into the life of a crafty con artist who mistakenly steals the identity of a notorious hit man. I poured my heart and soul into this project, and hopefully I’ll be able to bring this immersive cinematic experience to audiences like you as soon as distribution is secured.
I also run my own production company called J-Style Films Inc. Through this platform, I’ve directed music videos and several short films. It’s been an incredible ride, and I’m grateful to have been recognized for my work. I’ve had the honor of receiving awards such as “Best Director” at various film festivals, which has been a huge validation of my artistic vision.
I’ve also had the chance to work on some truly special projects. One standout is an animated short film I created for the talented Hollywood actor Omari Hardwick. You might know him from his roles in “Power” as the character Ghost on the Starz Channel, “Kick-Ass” alongside Nicholas Cage, or the current sitcom “Being Mary Jane” on B.E.T. Collaborating with Omari was an amazing experience, and it showcased my ability to bring unique stories to life across different mediums.
I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had in my career so far, and I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new avenues in storytelling. Thanks for joining me on this journey, and I can’t wait to share more of my work with you in the future.
